Say or spell it as you please.
How did someone earn one ? The card isn’t kidding. You killed every enemy in the course of a fight. The unspoken rule being that there was as-many-or-more enemies as there were party members in the battle. No way you’re getting a card if all you did was kill both Orcs that your party of five heavily armed Level-12 characters stumbled upon in a forest. Take on that company of fourteen Hobgoblins and let us know if you ice ’em all.
How frequently were they awarded ? Seldom, especially given the largely-unintentional kill-stealing that goes on in our game groups. A character had to be the right mix of motivated, quick, hard-hitting, and lucky.
Any extra XP come with this accomplishment ? Ask the DM. He’ll say no.
The “Cards” series of posts recalls the special “trophy” business-cards awarded to players during E.G.’s original D&D v.3.5 game several years ago. This is a weekly post.
