Cards (24 of 25) – “Silver Card of Gallantry″

We should invent the Gallant H-90.

How did someone earn one ?  Ten foes slain in a battle for a Bronze Card of Valour was easy compared to this challenge.  Drop twenty enemies in a single combat session to score a Silver Card of Gallantry.  Hope you’re up against kobolds or low-level zombies; and you’re a Fighter or a destructive Cleric.  That will help a lot.

How frequently were they awarded ?  I think A.T. and A.B. each got one of these.  The former for Cleric-al work, the latter for sheer hack-&-slashery.  M.H. might have cashed in too, he was known to do solid damage.

Is there a Gold Card for >30 enemies ?  No; not to spoil next week’s entry, but if any of us managed to kill 30 or more enemies in a single fight, then our DM was lobbing us softballs.  And that is not something that E.G. does as a DM.

The “Cards” series of posts recalls the special “trophy” business-cards awarded to players during E.G.’s original D&D v.3.5 game several years ago.  This is a weekly post.
